I bought these to replace a pair of Spobri headphones that I bought last year during prime days. I use these primarily for swimming, but also for walking around the neighborhood and working in the yard. While I was initially very happy with the Spobri, the battery life degraded over the year from 2 hours down to 1 hour, which means they were not lasting for any of my workouts. Perhaps that was their downfall, as they have shown up as “unavailble” on Amazon for the last several monthsThe battery life this new set has been outstanding, lasting 6+ hours after initial charge and still performing well.A few comments in reponse to other commenters. If you want to use any headeset for swimming while using bluetooth, you are barking up the wrong tree. Bluetooth can not penetrate water, so the only time it will work is if you keep your head above water and stay in range with your phone. That said, loading music on these head phones is simple–just plug the headphones into the USB slot on your computer and drag and drop the files. Be aware: you can only play MP3 files, so you have to convert your favorite tunes tat are in another format into MP3s before you can hear them. Or, just rip your favorite CDs into MP3 right off the bat. Itunes can convert them easily, and Windows media will rip CDs straight into MP3s if you like.I currently have over 600 songs on the headset and haven’t come close to filling the memory. Now, understand that the player will just play songs sequentially as loaded on the device. I am still trying to figure out how to rename the songs so that they are organized the headphone in a way I like. But that’s not a problem. The skip forward/skip back function works fine. Quick pushed on the volume control changes volume, and longer presses activates the skip function. The control buttons do take a little practice to get familiar, but they are easy to find and operate even while swimming.I cannot comment on using the headset for bluetooth calls–I haven’t tried that since that is not why I bought these headphones. You will need to check on other comments for ratings of that function.Only 4 stars for sound quality and noise cancellation–I’m not sure if there is even a noise cancellation function. As far as sound quality, I am happy with it. Perhaps the fact that MP3 files inherently of less quality is the issue, but since these are designed not to be worn in the ear, you are constantly dealing with external noise while swimming or running. I have super satisfied with these headphones for the way I use them.

I have been biking and wearing some form of headphones for maybe 10 years in NYC. I initially used in-ear buds (illegal in the city when riding) then switched to contact speakers like this.I usually wreck headphones within a year or less. I haven’t made it through a winter yet with these, so TBD.But otherwise they are the best I’ve had for price, sweat-proof-ness and battery life. This is not high-fidelity sound-first usage. I am riding a bike and I want external noise to drown out the headphone when necessary. For me, it is a feature that I can’t hear podcasts when a truck is driving next to me.These have lasted a very long time with no sign of slowing down so far. For 7 months, I have worn them 3-6 days a week while riding between 2-4 hours a day of riding (commuting or riding for exercise). I sweat so much I’ve had other waterproofs fill with sweat and short out and die. These have lasted, even with some loose compartments (I am rough on them). I even sometimes listen to music while working (programmer) almost the whole day, the battery does not run out.The only real complaint I might say is the microphone. It is not magic and it does the “wind noise” while I ride and talk. Also it will occasionally give a low volume overall and I need to turn it off and on.In the realm of minor bugs, I think it’s little computer chip can’t properly handle both finishing Bluetooth pairing and saying it is paired at the same time, every time. So it will appear to pair on the iPhone but then unpair as it is announces it /has/ paired, and then it will dawdle and mostly re-pair but sometimes I have to go into Bluetooth menu to tap it. I use a different headphones set at home, so it happens on first re-pairing.I also use these for Waze and podcasts while driving because they do not interfere with driving sounds, just conversational flow. I wouldn’t listen to music while driving or biking tho, that’s just dumb/unsafe.

I’ve been using this headset for about a week now. These will not replace my Sennheiser’s or Beats for everyday wear and enjoyment, but for my outdoor exercising, they are great!First the pros: Good sound quality Great battery life Environmental awareness Fairly comfortable for long-term wear Easy setup and connection Cost is much lower than competitorsNow the cons: Virtually no low-end bass frequencies Volume is a bit low and can be drowned out in louder environments Voice/speech use is a bit muddyVerdict:These are great for their purpose. This is my first bone-conducting earphones, so it took a bit to get accustomed to their dynamic differences. Once I adjusted my own expectations, I realized that for outdoor activities they are just great. I recommend.
