The Autastic Refund and Returns policy is grounded in this reality: Autastic is me, Diane. I’m a person, like you, just trying to eat and live. Most of the time, Autastic is funded by me and by our amazing donors who are also community members trying to eat and live. That means our revenue stream is more of a tiny creek, beautiful, welcome, and limited in supply. I am so grateful to them for sharing what they have in service of bringing a greater number of us nice things. All that is to make real that refund timing below is borne of a limited reserve of funds.

The Autastic Shop

The Autastic Shop offers products sold at third-party retailers. All issues with purchases need to be addressed with each specific retailer such as Amazon or Etsy. We really have zero ability to help with those situations as Shop transactions are entirely outside our realm.

Services

Funds paid for services offered by me, Diane, or by individuals engaged by me as part of Autastic are refundable if the refund request is made 48-hours or more before a scheduled appointment. Why? Because, as marginalized individuals, we just don’t have the buffer of funds that a company would have.

Please take a moment to be sure of your purchases before you place them. If life happens along the way, reach out at least 2 days in advance of your appointment, and I’ll do my best to make it right in a timely manner.

A full refund, exchange, or credit cannot be offered for cancellations made within 48-hours of your scheduled appointment.

Non-Refundable Purchases

Several purchases are exempt from being returned:

  • Downloadable products such as ebooks or apps
  • Gift cards
  • Personalized and/or customized items

Donations

Donations are a vital part of keeping Autastic alive. As such, all types of donations, as well as merchandise received as gifts for donations, are exempt from being returned or refunded. In most cases, you will be able to adjust or cancel recurring donations through the links provided in your confirmation emails. If you need assistance, reach out and I’ll do my best to help.
