Friends. Confidence. Change.
Whether you’re fresh from assessment or just beginning your research, this 3-week series in The Autastic Community is a great way to meet other people who are at a similar point in their autistic discovery.
Learn practical techniques and tools for everyday life, ask the questions you might be afraid to ask in a larger setting, and get up to speed (or get a refresher!) on some core concepts of autistic life, all in the company of new friends.
Consider the Onboarding experience your bubble where you can get to know yourself and your new community while being supported. It’s about self-discovery, seeing ourselves through a new lens, and starting to build your plan for your new life.

Your Guide
Onboarding is facilitated by your host and Autastic communities founder, Diane J. Wright. Diane developed, and continues to evolve, the Onboarding experience from:
- Her personal journey as an adult-identified autistic person of colour,
- Interviews with mental health practitioners,
- Ongoing feedback and input from Onboarding cohorts, and from
- Facilitating the collective conversations of nearly 15,000 late-identified and questioning communities’ members over several years.
